A Global Research and Action Agenda on Cities and Climate Change Science
This open access book explores the dynamic interface of urban practice, transformation, and cities and climate change science. Beginning with the landmark 2018 Cities and Climate Change Science Conference, moving through the Innovate4Cities Conferences in 2021 and 2024, it shows how the evolution of the Global Research and Action Agenda for Cities and Climate Change Science (GRAA) has facilitated collaboration across disciplines and sectors and supported the exchange of knowledge and innovation between cities globally. Through a detailed record of how cities and climate change science have evolved, the book highlights actionable solutions and scalable interventions, while synthesizing lessons learned into effective strategies.
