As generative artificial intelligence transforms how problems are explored, opportunities are formulated, business models are developed, assumptions are tested, and projects are communicated, entrepreneurs and innovation teams face both an extraordinary opportunity and a new risk: AI can accelerate entrepreneurial work without necessarily producing better entrepreneurial projects.

This book shifts attention from isolated AI outputs to the cumulative design of entrepreneurial projects. Grounded in Design-Based Entrepreneurship (DBE) and Representational Interaction Architecture (RIA), it introduces ToolBoard, a structured design-based methodology and operational system for developing venture projects through explicit questioning, intermediate representations, Human–AI–Human cycles, and iterative validation.

Intended for entrepreneurs, innovation teams, educators, mentors, incubators, and corporate innovation programs, the book offers a practical and conceptual framework for using generative AI in uncertain early-stage contexts while preserving evidence, coherence, traceability, accountability, and human judgment.
