He is the Founding Director of the Surrey Academy for Blockchain and Metaverse Applications and serves as Chair of the Advisory Board for the UK All-Party Parliamentary Group on Metaverse and Web 3.0.

A thought leader at the intersection of blockchain and AI, Professor Xiong is also Co-Founder of Endless Protocol, a next-generation blockchain integrating artificial intelligence to promote decentralization, sustainability, and user empowerment.

He has authored over 100 publications in refereed academic journals and conferences.
