Biografische Anmerkung

Tobias Endress is Assistant Professor at the AIT School of Management and Program Director Business Analytics & Digital Transformation. He has more than 20 years of professional experience in banking and finance, project business, digital transformation, and change management. His former (non-academic) roles include project and program manager, product owner, and business analyst. He has completed professional training for banking and graduated in Computer Science and Business Administration (IBW) at VWA Frankfurt (Germany) and in Business Economics at Avans+ in Breda (Netherlands). He got Master’s Degree in Leadership in Digital Communication at Berlin University of the Arts (UdK Berlin) and University of St. Gallen (Switzerland), as well as Doctorate in Business Administration at the University of Gloucestershire (UK). He is Fellow of the EuroMed Academy of Business.

Yuosre F. Badir earned his Ph.D. in Management of Technology and an Executive Master’s in Management of Logistical Systems from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL). He also holds an M.Sc. in Project Management from the University of Putra Malaysia (UPM) and a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Benghazi, Libya.He is currently the Dean and a Professor of Technology and Innovation Management at the School of Management (SOM), the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). Previously, he served for several years as the Director of Doctoral Programs (Ph.D. and DBA) at SOM. Before joining AIT in 2008, he held various academic and research positions, including Research Fellow at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Research Associate at EPFL, Lecturer at the European University in Geneva, and Visiting Scholar at the Business School of New York University (NYU). His work has been published in top peer-reviewed journals such as Research Policy, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, IEEE-TEM, among others. His research focuses on managing innovation, technology, and digital transformation in emerging market’s SMEs.
