Tobias Endress is Assistant Professor at the AIT School of Management and Program Director Business Analytics & Digital Transformation. He has more than 20 years of professional experience in banking and finance, project business, digital transformation, and change management. His former (non-academic) roles include project and program manager, product owner, and business analyst. He has completed professional training for banking and graduated in Computer Science and Business Administration (IBW) at VWA Frankfurt (Germany) and in Business Economics at Avans+ in Breda (Netherlands). He got Master’s Degree in Leadership in Digital Communication at Berlin University of the Arts (UdK Berlin), as well as Doctorate in Business Administration at the University of Gloucestershire (UK). He is Fellow of the EuroMed Academy of Business and Director of the Startup Grind chapter in Bangkok.
Yuosre F. Badir is Dean and Professor of Technology and Innovation Management at the School of Management, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). His research examines innovation, technology, and digital transformation in small and medium-sized enterprises across emerging markets, and has appeared in leading journals including Research Policy, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, and IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, among others. Prior to serving as dean, he directed AIT’ school of management doctoral programs (PhD and DBA). Before joining AIT in 2008, he held academic and research appointments at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), the European University in Geneva, and as a visiting scholar at New York University’s Stern School of Business. He holds a PhD in Management of Technology and an Executive Master’s in Management of Logistical Systems from EPFL, an MSc in Project Management from Universiti Putra Malaysia, and a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Benghazi.
