Gianpaolo Balsamo serves as the Director at the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), having joined in 2024 to lead the Global Greenhouse Gas Watch (G3W). This new flagship initiative aims to support the implementation of the Paris Agreement through the use of Earth Observations and Earth System Models. The G3W is dedicated to providing authoritative and precise data to support the Global Stocktake and the Nationally Determined Contributions under the Enhanced Transparency Framework of the Paris Agreement.

Michael Mathres is the Chief Marketing Officer at ITMO Ltd (UK), bringing over 20 years of experience in sustainable finance, carbon markets, and nature capital. Passionate about sourcing, structuring, and selling financial products that align with the Paris Agreement and protect our climate and biodiversity, he is dedicated to promoting and implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for all future generations.

Markus Leippold is a Professor at the Swiss Finance Institute and the University of Zurich (Switzerland), where he holds the Chair in Financial Engineering. He is also a visiting researcher at Google DeepMind (USA). Before joining the University of Zurich in 2009, Markus was an Associate Professor in Quantitative Finance at Imperial College Business School, London (UK).
