This edited volume offers a timely and comprehensive exploration of Eastern Europe’s evolving role in shaping the global political, economic, and security landscape. Edited by leading scholars, this volume presents a multi-dimensional analysis of the region’s strategic importance, positioned as a bridge between East and West, amidst ongoing geopolitical realignments and international uncertainty. Through rigorous research and engaging case studies, contributors examine how the region’s integration into global systems, such as the European Union, NATO, and international trade and technology networks, has positioned it as a critical player in the 21st century. From the Russia-Ukraine conflict and NATO expansion to the rise of Eastern Europe’s innovation hubs and soft power diplomacy, this book sheds light on both visible and underexplored dimensions of the region’s influence. It not only analyzes current developments but also anticipates future trends, offering actionable insights for global governance, economic development, and security planning.
