Embedding Sustainability in Business Transformation
This volume examines how organizations can embed sustainability into governance, strategy, and operations through the MER Model of Integral Management. Combining conceptual analyses and applied case studies, it explores enterprise development, sustainability-responsive management, sustainable hospitality, ethical and integral governance in sport organizations, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and business ethics measurement, sustainability transparency and reporting, and the integration of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into corporate practice. Additional chapters address strategic sustainability orientation, critical perspectives on social life-cycle assessment (S-LCA), and the opportunities and ethical challenges of artificial intelligence in business decision-making. Bringing together sustainability, governance, ethics, and innovation, the book offers researchers, doctoral students, managers, and policymakers an integrated framework for achieving long-term organizational resilience and responsible business transformation.
