Embracing Diversity in the Workplace and Beyond
This book expounds upon the intersection of diversity and well-being within both the workplace and broader societal contexts. Composed of three sections, it initially examines common challenges in diversity and inclusion and their implications for well-being before diving into each sphere respectively. The workplace context section systematically targets crucial portions of contemporary organizational systems, from refining personnel selection processes and organizational rewards to managing discrimination and fostering an inclusive organizational culture. The concluding section is devoted to the broader social context, where the authors expound upon diversity education, multiculturalism, and inclusion in online spaces and identify avenues for fostering more inclusive societies.
Against the backdrop of greater social cognizance and drive for change, this book will provide a much-needed holistic illumination of prevailing diversity-related issues and avenues for intervention across both professional and everyday spheres.
