Austin State University, Nacogdoches, Texas, USA and a PhD degree in economics from the Atatürk University, Erzurum, Turkey. He is interested in macroeconomics and econometrics. He is working as an associate professor of Economics at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, Balıkesir, Turkey.
