Chen Shi is Associate Professor in School of Public Policy and Administration, Assistant Coordinator of The Institute for Population and Development Studies, Associate Coordinator of XJU-HKU Joint Research Center on Population and Sustainable Development, Xi’an Jiaotong University. Her research direction covers land institution, land policy, governance on natural resource, sustainable development. Dr. Shi received her Ph.D. in the Department of Urban Planning and Design, The University of Hong Kong, supervised by Prof. Bo-sin Tan and Prof. Anthony G. O. Yeh. In 2019, she was selected for the “International Postdoctoral Exchange Fellowship Program (Talent-Introduction Program)” supported by China Postdoctoral System, as well as “Young Talents Support Program (Class A)” supported by Xi’an Jiaotong University. In 2021, she won the second prize as the first author in Outstanding Achievement Award in Humanities and Social Sciences in Colleges and Universities of Shaanxi Province.
