This book presents, through ten key impulses, the foundations of value-based and meaning-centered leadership grounded in Viktor E. Frankl’s image of humanity. These impulses are intended to provide sources of reflection and practical guidance for actively shaping one’s own life as well as relationships within a leadership context. They always operate in two directions: on the one hand, they influence the relationship with oneself (self-leadership), and on the other, the relationship with others (including the leadership of employees). Designed to be a practical guide, the book combines academic insights with clear and accessible explanations. Each of the ten impulses is conceptually developed and complemented by practical suggestions for application. On this basis, self-leadership can provide a solid foundation of meaning and values for the effective contemporary leadership of employees.
