Risk-Oriented Supplier Quality Management
This book presents an end-to-end process perspective of an organization and its value-creating processes, in which Supplier Quality Management (SCQM) operates both proactively and reactively to support the realization of an organization's planned products and outcomes. The developed generic process model for designing a standards-compliant quality management system, exemplified through a model of risk-oriented Supplier Quality Management, distinguishes organizational processes into operational activities (1st line) and management processes (2nd line). It provides the foundation for strong organizational governance and supports the risk-oriented execution of individual projects. For operational activities, the book introduces a toolbox of established SCQM methods and tools (SCQM Tile Model) and maps them to the corresponding processes within the generic SCQM process model, thereby offering practical guidance for implementation and application.
