Strategic Crisis Leadership in the Middle East
This book assesses strategic crisis management in Lebanon during the Covid-19 pandemic. It compares the government’s responses to the crisis with those offered by Hezbollah, and assesses how their varying responses were perceived by the public. By shining light on the case of Lebanon, the book broadens our understanding of crisis management into a region that, due to social and political complexity, has been vastly understudied. It will appeal to scholars and students of public administration, crisis management and international relations, as well as all those interested in the Middle East more generally.
