Svala is also a country collaborator for the Global Leadership and Organizational Behavior Effectiveness (GLOBE) project along with other international research networks. She has been published in various international scholarly journals.

Throstur Olaf Sigurjonsson is a Professor in the Department of Business Administration at the University of Iceland School of Business. His areas of research are corporate governance, business ethics, policymaking, and policy implementation. He has been published in various international scholarly journals and is co-editor of Cross-Driven Institutional Resilience (Palgrave Macmillan 2023).
