This book offers the first systematic analysis of economic thought concerning war. Renata Allio is Professor Emeritus of Economic History at the University of Turin, Italy. Her research activities have mainly dealt with history of work and migration, and the history of economic thought. She has published 120 essays in journals and volumes published in Italy, France and Germany.
