Transition to the Circular Economy Model
This edited volume provides a multisectoral, multidisciplinary analysis of the circular economy in Turkey. The chapters delve into different segments of the economy, monitoring the progress of the transition to circularity as it is occurring. Written by experts in the circular economy, chapters touch on different aspects of the sustainability transition—from AI and entrepreneurship to luxury fashion to green finance. Chapters also refer directly to applicable UN Sustainable Development Goals, noting the progress made towards related development targets. Natalya Ketenci is a Professor in Economics at Yeditepe University, Turkey, where she is the director of the Management Application and Research Center (MARC-YUVAM). She received her Ph.D. degree in Economics from the University of Reading, UK and an MSc in Mathematics from the Kazak State National University. At the same time, she is a member of the Centre for Euro-Asian Studies at the University of Reading's Henley Business School. Her current research has a focus on energy issues in Turkey and on energy links between European and transition countries. Her publications include numerous books and contributions to such journals as Energy, Russian Journal of Economics, Empirical Economics, Economic Modeling, and Research in Economics.
